Breaking Free!

In my EMDR session today Jesus showered me with His peace and love by reminding me that with His help, I can pop the devil's bubble and break free from his deceit! And you can too...make it your life's mission to always seek Jesus & keep your eyes on Him. Just remember to have grace with yourself if and when you take your eyes off of Him and once you realize you have, quickly refocus on Him!

The imagery that I experience in my EMDR sessions can be so vivid and seem so real. I crave the ability to draw some of the images that come to mind during my sessions but none of my attempts to illustrate my experiences come anywhere close to doing these stunning scenes justice. It is also one of my deepest desires to write about my experiences, but there never seems to be words eloquent enough to suit. I still desire to share it & will continue to try!! Here is one of my unique experiences: Partial Prescence

The first time that I was truly overwhelmed by the enlightening discovery that God was using my EMDR sessions to reveal Himself to me, I tried recording myself retelling my experience. At the time I recorded it I felt certain that I had expressed the power of it by painting it well with my words, but what I ultimately realized was that it didn't even come close... I now recognize that God intended for me to not be able to convey in words just how impactful the experience was - He only intended for it to be that intimate & powerful for me. I do believe that you can have the same type of intimate experience with Him if that is your desire. He certainly desires to have that connection with you!

I will of course suggest finding a Christian counselor who can do EMDR with you. I realize that EMDR may not be for everyone, however I am certain that God will guide you to how you can experience that connection for yourself. All you have to do is simply pray to ask for His guidance, be patient, & remember to be open to listening for Him to speak to your heart & mind.

I crave hearing His voice and receiving His guidance & I cherish each of these intimate experiences with Him! I can't even fathom how intensely He loves me and rather than try to, I choose to spend each and every day being thankful that He does! After all, loving God & loving others is what life is truly all about. Jesus shows us how to love unconditionally and each day I want to become more like Him!
